LG G3 vs Galaxy S5 vs One (M8) vs Xperia Z2 vs Oppo Find 7
Today LG presented the LG G3, the newest Android flagship on the mobile market, which we were able to cover in a LG G3 hands-on review before the official release. What we discovered (among many other things) was a better LG G2. We were then curious to see how the LG smartphone compares to other high end devices in the way of technical specifications, more specifically the HTC One (M8), Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, and Oppo Find 7.
When taking a glance at the tech specs alone, there are areas where the LG G3 outdoes its rivals. Users will be pleased that the G3 comes with a removable battery which packs a healthy 3,000 mAh. This last fact sets it apart from the HTC One (M8) and the Xperia Z2.
With a dazzling 2K QHD IPS display of 5.5 inches, the LG G3 is only matched by the Oppo Find 7, both now being two of the few handsets in the 2K display elite. All but the S5 have a Snapdragon 801 processor (Snapdragon 800), though we still are waiting for the 805 version to arrive which the LG G3 didn’t deliver. A new feature to arrive on the G3 is the laser auto-focus for its 13 MP camera, which looks good on paper. Though it has less megapixels than some of the other flagships, this new features differentiates it from the rest of the pack, but it still remains to be discovered what results it will provide.
In any case, though the numbers speak for themselves, you shouldn’t read too deeply into the tech specs, since actually using these devices that will allow us to see how they fare against one another in the high end league. In the coming days, we will be able to compare the LG G3 one on one with all of these Android smartphones. On a final note, the LG G3 is launching this week!
