The LG G3 just got real: first press renders leak
We've already seen several leaked pics of the upcoming LG G3, due to be unveiled in London on May 27th, but we've now received the first press renders that show off the new smartphone in perfect detail. And what we see, we like. We like very, very much.
The press renders don't actually show us anything we didn't already know though, they just show it off much better. We've got the familiar rear-key setup that debuted on the LG G2 and the dual flash and what is reported to be a laser for improved low-light photography flanking the slightly recessed power button and volume keys. A reported 13 MP camera with OIS+ is the crown atop the shining achievement, surrounded on all sides by a very nice looking brushed aluminum finish that is most likely still plastic, as the rear cover is reportedly removable, hiding a replaceable battery and microSD card slot.
Other than that, we already know the LG G3 will sport QHD resolution and come with a 5.5-inch display. Other specs include a possible quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, Android 4.4.2, 3 GB of RAM and a more-than-likely refresh of the Optimus UI, if any of the recent leaks and the LG Isai's interface are anything to go by. We're still hoping that LG have managed to cram that huge display into a chassis not much bigger than the LG G2, but whatever the case, we don't have long to find out. here's the three color variations:
What do you think of these new images? Is LG a contender for your next smartphone?
