Galaxy Note 8.0 Wi-Fi Android KitKat update commences

It seems that slowly but surely Samsung is pushing KitKat to its devices, other than the international Galaxy S3 that won't get it of course, which has outraged a lot of customers. The Galaxy Note 8.0Wi-Fi version is now next to receive the software update, starting of in the UK.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is one of Samsung S Pen-bearing phablets, great for productivity apps and multitasking (Galaxy Note 8.0 productivity tips and tricks). KitKat will do a lot to make the device even better, including a boost in performance speed, better battery life and wireless printing support, to name just a few of the awaited features. A complete Android 4.4. KitKatfeature breakdown is also available. Last week, the Galaxy Note 8.0 3G version started getting the update.

The update will either be pushed over the air or via Kies. Head to the settings of your device, and then select About. Tap on Software updates to manually check it the update is ready to go. Otherwise, Sam Mobile has the KitKat firmware ready for download, which you can perform using Odin.
The update is first being made available in the UK, but other regions should follow. Has anyone received the update yet? What improvements do you notice?
